9ft Shipping Container for Hire

The 9ft container is a specialised size, standing almost the same height as a full size shipping container, with a fraction of the footprint.
Ventilated and weather tight, they have a lockbox for added peace of mind – perfect to pair with an OZBOX shipping grade padlock for an extra layer of security!

  • Constructed with steel frames, fully vertically corrugated steel side and end walls, die-stamped corrugated steel roof, corrugated double hinged doors
  • Made from extremely tough Corten Steel
  • Exterior x 3 coats of Paint. Interior 2 x coats of paint
  • Marine Plywood Floor
  • Lockbox – For added security
  • Full door seals to ensure weather tightness and vermin proof
  • Forklift Pockets – For onsite moves
  • Easy Open Door
  • Approx 11.4 – 13.3cbm internal storage

Delivery Options: Hiab truck unless the customer has a forklift on site. It can then be delivered with a flat deck.

Frequently asked questions

What are 10ft containers used for?
10ft containers are just as versatile as standard sized shipping containers (20ft) with the only difference being their capacity. The smaller size arguably makes them a more practical choice as they are able to be placed in a wider range of spaces while still offering good storage.
Do you sell modified 10ft containers?
Yes, we currently have modified 10ft container kiosks that are framed, welded and ready to go. These are perfect for trade shows, events and festivals and are extremely transportable for those travelling all across the country.
What colour do they come in?
Typically, our 8ft and 10ft shipping containers are either Blue or Beige. However, it’s a good idea to check with us as we sometimes have other colours. Of course, we can always paint any container in any colour of your choice for a modest fee.
I’m planning on moving house. Can a 10ft container fit all my belongings?
Typically, we advise using a 20’ft container for a 3-4 bedroom house. Also, 20ft containers are cheaper to transport as they can be put on a swing-lift truck whereas a 10ft requires a Hiab truck which is sometimes up to twice the price.
